Page Purpose: To define the biblical framework of the ministry and give civic leaders and local pastors direct contact with the team.

Simply Christians operates as an auxiliary embassy of the Kingdom of God, recovering the apostolic pattern of the “Church of the City” across the Vale of Mowbray. In the New Testament, believers were never defined by competing brands or institutional silos; they held a singular, corporate identity before the watching world. A sovereign state does not send competing embassies to the same region, and our desire is to present a cohesive witness under the sole banner of King Jesus. 

This mission functions in complete Trinitarian harmony: 

• The Father as Sender: We step forward under the sovereign initiative of the Father, carrying His treaty of peace and pleading with our community to be reconciled to God. 

• The Son as Message & King: Jesus Christ is our sole banner. We lift up His cross, resurrection, and lordship above all denominational distinctions. 

• The Holy Spirit as Power & Guide: Baptised in the Holy Spirit, we minister with spiritual gifts, expectant faith, and Tabernacle Prayer to make the invisible Kingdom visible. 

Simply Christians began as a market-day evangelistic outreach of Hollybush Christian Fellowship, engaging the public for 6 hours a week on market days in Thirsk and Northallerton. Guided by the ambassadorial mandate of 2 Corinthians 5:20, what started in the market place naturally matured into a cross-church collaborative vehicle. 

Initiated through Hollybush—a fellowship located on a farm centrally positioned between Northallerton and Thirsk—Simply Christians was birthed to serve, equip, and champion the wider Body of Christ throughout the entire region. 

The work of Simply Christians is coordinated by local believers devoted to serving both the public square and the regional Church.
